The final two class meetings (5/4 and 5/6) will consist of presentations of your Project 1 Public Documents. Each of you will be required to showcase your public document to the class, as well as discuss its overall rhetorical dimensions. Don’t worry if you’re not done constructing your public document. Your presentation is meant to give the class a good idea of what you are creating, your rhetorical reasonings behind your chosen form for your public document, and how effectively you are communicating your overall project to a public audience.
Presentation times are non-negotiable, so make sure to come prepared on your assigned date. For those of you working with digital picture files, videos, or web sites, you will have the computer in the classroom at your disposal.

Here are the requirements for your presentation:
- Keep your presentation between 5-6 minutes at the most
- Provide a brief summary of Project 1 essay, research and findings, and overall conclusions.
- Showcase/describe your Project 1 Public Document before the class by answering the following questions:
- How does your public document connect to the claims/conclusions in your Project 1 Essay?
- What types of rhetorical choices did you consider in the process of creating your Project 1 Public Document?
- How easy/difficult was it to construct your public text? What other forms did your public document take before you settled on this final form?
- Overall, how/why is your Project 1 Public Document rhetorically effective, and what do you hope to accomplish with it?
- Provide one (1) open-ended question for class discussion.
- Don’t ask closed questions like this: Did you like my public document?
- Ask open questions like this: Why/how is my public document rhetorically effective? Why/how is this the best form to communicate my overall project? What specific audiences will my public text impact the most/least?
